RJ70/85 is a four-engined aircraft produced by British Aeropace (BAE) in England. Due to its construction and special wing shape these aircrafts are able to start and land on very short runways which make them especially suitable for city airports. The aircraft also fulfils the stringent environmental and noise level restrictions at European city airports. During 2008 will Transwede operate 2 AVRO RJ85 and 4 RJ70.
3 aircrafts are owned by the Braathens Aviation Group, and 3 are on lease from BAE Systems.
